Background
The personalization of a piece of jewelry is the core idea and origin that brought BERG.KETTE to life. Our experiences in the mountains stay with us throughout our lives. In many situations, we try to revive these memories, bring them back into our present and relive them in our thoughts, alone or together.
The pieces of jewellery we create are not the same as the memories we associate with them. They do not add value to them, as the value of our memories is irreplaceable. However, they offer us an anchor to reawaken these memories every day so that we can enjoy them.
With this in mind, we look forward to creating a piece of jewelry together whose value only you know and share with everyone who is important to you.
Process
Before you buy the personalized piece of jewelry in the online shop, please contact us via email ( info@bergkette.at ). To request your personalized piece of jewelry, we need information about the desired cut. You can send us different file formats for this purpose.

Please include this information directly with your request so that we can create designs straight away. We will send these to you for you to choose from. Once you have decided on one of the designs, you can place the order in the online shop and thus place the order.
Design Process
When it comes to personalized jewelry, it is important to know that not everything is possible. The two most important factors for creating a piece of jewelry are the scale and the height profile of the chosen mountain range. This means that the cutout can be larger or smaller depending on the mountain range. Of course, we try to accommodate your needs here.
Mountains too flat?
If the selected mountain range is too flat and even a detailed section does not create enough excitement, it is possible to manipulate the height profile. Here, the z-axis of the relief is multiplied by a factor (x). This makes it possible to transform even flatter mountains into exciting pieces of jewelry.
IMPORTANT: This means that the mountain range is not shown true to life. Nevertheless, it represents the selected map section in an abstract form.

There is no right of return for personalized products. It is therefore important to us to create a piece of jewelry with and for you that will bring you joy for a long time.
